PMMP is a hands-on, personalised mentorship experience where you’ll be nurtured with intention and expertise to grow your coaching skills, elevate your confidence, and strengthen the foundations of your coaching business.

This mentoring programme is more than just a skills upgrade—it’s an invitation to step into your full potential as a coach. You’ll be supported to:

  • Deepen your professional capability and confidence

  • Strengthen personal awareness and presence in your coaching relationships

  • Build a thriving, ethical, and sustainable coaching practice

  • Learn from experienced mentors and peers across multiple coaching disciplines

  • Develop and demonstrate all capabilities aligned with the ANZCAL Professional Coaching Competency Framework

Craft Your Signature Coaching Presence

Over 4–6 months, this mentorship offers a thoughtfully guided experience where you’ll work closely with an experienced ANZCAL mentor to refine and demonstrate the core capabilities of a confident, professional coach.

The programme is designed to deepen your practice across essential coaching competencies, from establishing strong coaching agreements and fostering emotional safety, to communicating with impact and structuring sessions that are both effective and ethical.

You’ll also explore advanced techniques that honour the coachee’s agency—drawing on identity work, metaphor, and language to unlock deeper transformation.

By the end of the programme, you will be able to:

Establishing the Coaching Agreement
Create a foundation of clarity and trust through well-articulated coaching agreements. Establish session boundaries with confidence, and develop the ease and professionalism to communicate your value when setting fees.

Building Trust and Emotional Safety
Cultivate an environment where clients feel safe, seen, and supported from the very first interaction. Learn to build rapport that invites openness and fosters a strong, respectful coaching relationship.

Communicating with Impact
Deepen your ability to listen beyond words. Use skilful questioning, sensory acuity, and an understanding of body language and tone to guide transformational conversations and gently challenge limiting beliefs.

Delivering Effective Coaching Sessions
Design and facilitate sessions that are both structured and flexible. Learn to navigate time well, manage the flow of information, and address complex relational dynamics such as collusion and transference with professionalism.

Applying Advanced Coaching Techniques
Work with deeper layers of identity, values, and belief systems. Leverage the power of language, metaphors, and coachee-led insight to unlock meaningful change—always supporting rather than advising.

Goal Setting that Sticks
Support clients to create well-formed, authentic goals that are aligned with their values. Uncover hidden resistance, address internal blocks, and explore congruency to ensure goals are sustainable and purpose-driven.

Sustaining Action and Progress
Facilitate practical, measurable progress by co-creating action steps that are aligned, achievable, and forward-focused. Help clients maintain momentum while holding space for insight, accountability, and resilience.

Ethics, Reflection, and Professional Standards
Develop a coaching practice grounded in ethical integrity, reflective learning, and professional responsibility. Craft a 12-month professional development plan, embody altruism, and contribute meaningfully to your coaching community.

Experience and Evidence
Demonstrate your learning through real-world coaching practice and reflective documentation. As part of your growth, you’ll deliver a 60-minute masterclass on a coaching topic of your choice to the wider ANZCAL community.
