How Accreditation Works
Every ANZCAL Accredited programme goes through a rigorous application process before it earns the right to carry our name.
Applications are reviewed by our Assessment Panel — a body of ANZCAL Master Coaches who evaluate each programme against our published Standards & Assessment Rubric. The same panel also assesses applications for ANZCAL Master Coach and Master Trainer accreditation, so the people reviewing programmes are themselves held to the highest standard in the field.
There are no shortcuts here. Every programme is assessed on its merits, every time.
Our standards are built around three core principles:
Programmes you can trust!A hybrid approach — hours and outcomes. We set minimum learning hours and topic coverage, but we don't dictate how a programme teaches. What we assess is what graduates can actually do - keeping quality high while welcoming diverse methodologies and modalities.
Whole-person depth, woven through - not bolted on. Whole-person coaching isn't a module, it's an important thread through the entire curriculum. Graduates are equipped to work with the full human experience: emotional, somatic, relational, and meaning-making dimensions, within clear professional boundaries.
Genuine engagement with ANZ context. Our standards reflect both countries we serve.

NZ Life Coaching's 5 Day Breakthrough Life Coaching
Programme is proud to be ANZCAL-accredited at Associate Coach Level, meeting our Standards & Assessment Rubric for quality coach training. Graduates receive a Certificate in Life Coaching and can practise with confidence in New Zealand, backed by a qualification built on ANZCAL's recognised training standards.
